What are we going to see?

Beit Shearim – the Jewish Necropolis – the city of the Dead from the 3rd century. This site is UNESCO world heritage and yet it is less known for most visitors to the Galilee and even for Israelis – it is a surprising hidden gem.
The national park includes huge burial caves with decorated Sarcophagus, yet at the same time unfolds the story of the life of one of the most influential rabbis in Jewish history.

After coming back from the city of the Dead – it is time for some good wine followed by the Hebrew blessing Lehaim (For life)!
Let’s visit a great Winery, which provides high quality wines with a commitment to contribute to the community. The winery is located in “The Village of Hope” – A unique village where all the residents are people with special needs. And every business in the village, such as the winery, employs the local residents, thus allowing them to integrate into the labor market while providing great meaning in their lives. Plus, the wine is amazing!
After a short tour in the winery learning about the production process and getting intoxicated by the aromas… It is time to taste the wines.

Afterwards we continue to a great Shawarma restaurant – to eat like the locals!

Zippori – Overlooking on the Galilee from above like a bird (Bird is ZIPPOR in Hebrew). Zippori was the Roman capital of the Galilee as well as the capital of mosaics. Visit 5th century IKEA (Mosaics and home design mall), Walk on the original main streets of the of the Roman city, be the guest in a glorious mansion with the Mona-Liza of the Galilee as your host, feel like a bird on top of the Crusader watch tower and finish with a visit in an ancient synagogue summarizing the unique story of the Rabbi from Beit Shearim. Each site in Zippori is decorated with 1500 years old lovely Mosaics!

Wine sampling, traditional folk lunch, the entrance fees to both national parks – all included in the price of that tour!
