WHAT TO EXPECT: Fun & fascinating tour through Akko’s old city – a UNESCO world heritage site, including the highlights of Akko: “The Knights Halls” a perfectly preserved crusader city, the colorful market, the Templar Tunnel, the most beautiful synagogue in Israel and other surprises. After exploring Akko, we head to Rosh HaNikra Grottoes at the northern border of Israel to Lebanon – a phenomenal site of natural beauty. The tour is guided by a professional licensed tour guide.

TIME: Pick-up at 8.30 a.m. (precise pickup time will be provided personally). Drop-off around 5 p.m.

Acre ( Acco) is a city in the Western Galilee region of northern Israel at the northern extremity of Haifa Bay. Acre is one of the oldest continuously inhabited sites in the country.Historically, it was a strategic coastal link to the Levant. Acre is the holiest city of the Bahá’í Faith. Stroll through Old Akko & visit the Crusader City
Fasten your seatbelt & welcome to the time machine of the north of Israel – the old city of Akko!
Akko is a UNESCO world heritage city which is actually not one but two cities: A crusader city perfectly preserved buried underneath an Ottoman Turkish city.
First, we will travel with our time machine to the ancient walls of Akko through which Napoleon tried to conquer but came up short. From there all of a sudden we will find ourselves in the time of the Crusaders and will visit the Knights Halls and see where food came in (the dining room) and out (the crusaders’ latrine)! Don’t forget your armor and helmets.
Just a few steps up and the Time machine will bring us to the colorful market of the 18th century. Get off your camel to enjoy a pampering meal (included) like the locals in a traditional Humus restaurant.
Finally, our journey in time will take us to the secret Templar Tunnel which will lead us to the picturesque port! From there we will stroll along the Walls Promenade.
On top of all that Akko has a gemstone that you shouldn’t miss: the most beautiful synagogue in Israel, the Tunesian Synagogue with amazing mosaics summarizing the entire Jewish history!

Wander inside the breathtaking grottoes of Rosh HaNikra
At last we will ride the Steepest Cable Car in the World to explore one of the most unique geological phenomenons in Israel – Rosh Ha’Nikra – Nature at its best. The blue sea crashes on the white cliffs and then rivers flow through the natural amazing grottoes inside the mountain, creating a unique ecosystem as well as plenty of legends…
Additional information
- Please wear modest clothes, covering Knees and shoulders for both men and women. Bringing a Shawl is a perfect solution..
- We recommend you to bring comfortable walking shoes, water and a cool hat!
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Small groups – our tours will have a minimum of 4 travelers and a maximum of 16 travelers.
- You are dreaming to join our tours but find out that it is not available on your desired date according to the regular schedule – we can make it available! We can open your desired tour date in the booking calendar and then all we need is to reach total of 4 people to sign up.

- If you cancel at least 24 hours before the tour starts, you will be fully refunded.
- Cancelation within the last 24 hours – no refund… Sorry.
- Minimum 4 people are required for the tour to take place.
Otherwise, the tour might be cancelled. You will be notified about it in advance.
