What are we going to see?

The Galilee is Israel’s green paradise and a cultural melting pot. Do you like to sit back mesmerized by entertaining stories in the midst of beautiful scenery? This tour is informative as well as fun, memorable, and full of cultural authenticity.

Nazareth is today the biggest Arabic city in Israel with a bustling market and culinary delicacies. This is the home of the Holy Family: Mary, Joseph and Jesus and the place where the word of GOD became flesh. Here Jesus grew up and spent most of his life. We are going to visit two churches of Annunciation. Both are unique yet distinct – the catholic Basilica of Annunciation and the orthodox Church of St. Gabriel. The tour also includes the famous landmark of Mary’s well and a stroll through the colorful market.

Afterwards, we are heading for one of the nicest restaurants for a pampering lunch (included). We will sit back & enjoy Mediterranean cuisine with the local speciality “St. Peter’s fish”.

Then we are heading to the Sea of Galilee. Capernaum, also named “The city of Jesus” is the place where Jesus lived, preached and performed his miracles which are described in the bible. We are going to visit the ancient synagogue and a church hovering over the house of Saint Peter.

After that, we are heading to the Mount of Beatitudes, a church build by the famous Italian architect Antonio Barluzzi. The church is located in beautiful scenery on the mountain, overlooking the Sea of Galilee and symbolizes the famous “Sermon on the Mount”, which some consider as the most meaningful message of Jesus.

Following up we are going to visit the ancient city of Magdala, the city of Mary Magdalene, which played an important role in Jesus life. This site combines amazing archeological finds (found just lately by a miracle!), a beautiful modern church, great meaningful art, and a great message.

Your guide is providing you with deep insight into the period when Jesus lived and showing you some of the most stunning archeological finds in the land of Israel.

Meet the people of the Galilee, visit the glorious city of Nazareth and last but not least – walk in the footsteps of Jesus!

If time allows another site will be added to the itinerary – The Primacy of St. Peter Church.
The itinerary might change slightly since some of the sites close on special occasions, holidays, etc.
